Raw dog food for
multiple dogs.

Ordering raw dog food for multiple dogs starts with one list per recipe: the quantity you planned, what you already have, and the whole packs needed to close the gap.

By Revival Raw. Product specifications checked September 22, 2026. Automated editorial and calculation review by Codex.

Add together the quantities already chosen for each recipe, subtract that recipe’s stock on hand, then round the remaining requirement to available packs. Do the rounding after combining the household list. Rounding separately for each dog can add a pack you did not need.

This guide starts after you have chosen your dogs’ food and quantities. It does not determine a diet, daily amount or recipe suitability. The numbers below are fictional shopping examples, not a recommended order for any number or size of dogs.

Calculate the packs for one recipe.

Choose a recipe, enter your household’s planned total and subtract the amount of that same recipe already on hand. Repeat for every recipe on your list. The planner finds the smallest available pack combination that covers the shortfall; if combinations tie, it prefers the lower product subtotal, then fewer packs.

Pack planner
Use a total quantity you have already chosen. Enter pounds, not your dogs’ body weights. This tool calculates purchases, not feeding amounts.

Example: a 32 lb Platinum target with none on hand needs two 16 lb packs: 32 lb, $208.00 product subtotal, 0 lb above the target.

One-time USD prices checked September 22, 2026. Shipping, tax and discounts are excluded. Current checkout controls price and availability. Inputs stay in this page and are not submitted by this planner.

For a single available pack size, the calculation is: packs = shortfall divided by pack weight, rounded up. If stock already covers the target, the result is zero packs. Platinum has two pack sizes, so the tool compares combinations instead of rounding to only one size.

Combine shared-recipe quantities before rounding.

Imagine your written shopping list calls for another 19 lb of Platinum Blend for one dog and another 13 lb for a second dog, after existing stock has already been accounted for. Those two requirements total 32 lb.

  • Buying for the first dog separately: one 24 lb pack at $156.
  • Buying for the second separately: one 16 lb pack at $104.
  • Separate rounding buys 40 lb for $260, leaving 8 lb above the combined target.
  • Combining the requirements first: two 16 lb packs buy exactly 32 lb for $208.

The $52 difference comes from purchasing 8 fewer pounds. It is not a multi-dog discount. Both sizes have the same listed price per pound. Our bulk-buying price guide covers unit-price comparisons; this planner answers the next question: how many packs belong in this order?

This works only for quantities of the same product. Keep the chosen recipe intact when combining lines. A shared shopping list is not a reason to change either dog’s food.

Count stock by recipe, not just total pounds.

A household can have enough food in total and still be short of a particular item on its list. Suppose your next shopping target is 34 lb of Essentials Blend and 22 lb of Beef 80/10/10. Your inventory has 10 lb of Essentials and 7 lb of Beef.

  • Essentials: 34 − 10 = 24 lb to buy. One 24 lb pack costs $130.80 and reaches that target exactly.
  • Beef: 22 − 7 = 15 lb to buy. The listed pack is 30 lb for $163.50, so one pack adds 15 lb above this target.
  • Combined order: two product packs, 54 lb purchased, $294.30 before checkout charges or discounts.

The 15 extra pounds belong on the next inventory count for Beef. They do not erase a shortfall in Essentials or another recipe. The example also shows why “two boxes” is an incomplete order description: these two product packs contain different weights.

If you do not want the extra quantity, pause the purchase and reconsider your shopping target or ask about current pack options. Do not assume an unlisted half-pack is available. The tool’s smallest combination is a mathematical result, not an instruction to buy more than you can accommodate.

Use the actual product pack as the order unit.

The planner uses these listing details, checked September 22, 2026:

  • Platinum Blend: 16 lb packs with eight 2 lb tubes, or 24 lb packs with twelve 2 lb tubes; $104 and $156 respectively.
  • Essentials Blend: a 24 lb pack with twelve 2 lb tubes; $130.80.
  • Beef 80/10/10: a 30 lb pack with six 5 lb tubes; $163.50.

A product pack, an individual tube and a carrier carton are different counts. Two product packs do not establish how many tracking numbers an order will receive. When checking the cart, match the recipe, selected pack weight and quantity instead of relying on a generic box count.

Keep one household order worksheet.

Write one row per recipe with these fields: planned total, stock already on hand, remaining shortfall, selected pack sizes, number of packs, pounds purchased, extra pounds and product subtotal. Date the inventory count so another person does not reuse an old number.

Download the blank order worksheet (CSV) to fill in on your computer, or copy those fields into a shared household note. The worksheet is a blank record, not an automatic calculator; use the planner above for the pack arithmetic.

Choose one person to reconcile the final list before checkout. Record an order already placed separately from food physically on hand, so it neither gets counted twice nor disappears from the planning conversation. If an existing subscription is expected to cover part of the list, verify its actual product and quantity in your account before placing an additional order.

The subscription ordering guide explains current plan selection and account access. This worksheet does not create, pause or change a subscription.

Check the cart against the list.

For each recipe, confirm the selected variant and pack quantity. Then compare the final checkout subtotal, discounts, shipping and tax with your worksheet. The planner uses a dated one-time price snapshot; it does not quote a live checkout total or reserve inventory.

If a listed variant is unavailable, return to the plan before substituting another recipe or pack. If the package description is unclear, ask Revival support to confirm the product name, weight per pack and number of individual tubes. Include the product link so everyone is discussing the same listing.

Keep the worksheet with your order confirmation. At the next count, update actual quantities on hand, including any extra pounds from whole-pack rounding, before starting another order.
